HIKMicro Panther

The HIKMIcro Panther is the first dedicated scope to combine HIK’s high-quality thermal image performance with a laser rangefinder, which allows you to display the distance of your target in the viewfinder. The panther also includes a host of innovative new features alongside a removable 18650 battery and universal Picatinny attachment.

Developed to be easy to use in the dark, the Panther has a robust focus ring fitted behind the objective lens. All of the other controls are placed on the innovative jog dial. Rotating the dial adjusts the magnification, pressing the jog dial switches between the four colours, pressing and holding will load the menu. There are only two other buttons on the Panther. One controls the rangefinder, and the other is used to power the unit on or put it into standby mode.

At the heart of the Panther is either HIKMICRO’s 384x288px or 640x512, 12µm thermal sensor with a sub 35mk NETD. This highly accurate sensor is capable of detecting slight temperature differences and building a highly detailed image in any condition. The thermal sensor is paired with a high performance 50mm focal length lens system that delivers (depending on model) either a  2.6x / 4.33x optical magnification with up to 8x digital magnification. The high specification lens system has F1.0 aperture which means there are no restrictions in the lens system and all of the available signals can reach the sensor. This combines with the highly accurate sensor to deliver amazing thermal performance.

The large 1024x768px OLED display gives you an excellent view of your target. The display can be customised to include picture in picture and the rangefinder readings can be altered to suit your style of shooting. You can also select from four thermal colour palettes White Hot, Black Hot, Fusion and Red Hot.

The Panther uses HIK's latest software which includes an updated one shot zero system. You also have the ability to record video of your shooting trips direct to the Panther, or you can use the App to stream, record and control your phone. The chassis joins to the supplied picatinny rail making it easy to attach and get perfect eye relief. With a recoil rating of 750 g/ms the Panther will perform on large calibre rifles without a problem. The IP67 rating means that it is waterproof, and you can continue shooting in bad weather. The Panther is also the first scope in the HIK range to be powered by the 18650 removable battery. This makes extended hunting trips possible without any power concerns.
