FX Panthera 500mm

The FX Panthera 500mm air rifle is an exceptional engineering piece designed specifically for precision competition shooting. FX Airguns has taken a generational technological leap forward with the Panthera, which features a new Dynamic Block designed from the ground up for performance slug shooting. This new breech block includes a compact one-piece valve that utilizes a high-power/short-impulse valve to ensure an efficient yet precise airflow.

The Panthera's Dynamic Plenum is revolutionary and the first of its kind. It has an over-the-barrel plenum that provides a consistent regulated pressurized plenum around the barrel, adding incredible stiffness and allowing multiple plenum lengths to match the calibre and power of the rifle. Precise pressure levels are maintained by the single AMP MKII Regulator, ensuring that the airflow is controlled with exceptional accuracy. The Dynamic Breech & Plenum results are remarkable, with consistent 10-shot strings yielding standard deviations in the low 1.0-2.0 range and extreme spreads as low as 3-4. This level of precision control, when paired with the world-class FX Superior STX barrel using premium slugs, makes the Panthera a formidable contender in precision competitions.

The Panthera stock is designed with competition shooting in mind, featuring a 14.75" long Arca rail complete with M-LOK sections and a barricade block nestled next to the breech. The shooter can achieve an ideal balance point by adding external M-LOK compatible weights or internal FX Barrel Weights that attach under the shroud. The Panthera also has a fully adjustable buttstock and an adjustable, ambidextrous cheekpiece, ensuring a comfortable and customized fit for the shooter.

The Panthera has a larger breech than previous rifles, which allows projectiles up to 13mm in length. It uses the Standard Side-Shot Magazine but with a newly designed deeper lid to accommodate longer-length slugs. The FX Panthera employs the Quick Tune System, a 20MOA picatinny scope rail, comes standard with a zero-angle grip, and has an ambidextrous side lever cocking handle that is reversible to the left side of the rifle. Dual-angled Manometers on the left side of the block show the bottle pressure and the regulated plenum pressure. Overall, the FX Panthera is an exceptional air rifle designed for precision competition shooting.
