Description

The ZEISS DTC 3/25 and 3/38.
Use best-in-class, high-precision optics for maximum hunting success at night. The ZEISS DTC (Digital Thermal Clip-On) 3/25 and 3/38 offer a detailed and clear view of the target with perfectly compatible components and advanced image processing technology. Top-notch ergonomics and maximum user-friendliness thanks to the ErgoControl concept with intelligently arranged buttons and a centrally positioned focusing turret make the device easier to handle and focus precisely, even in complete darkness and in the cold. Thanks to the ZEISS Hunting app and the built-in zeroing assistant, saving custom settings is not only much easier, but the zeroing process itself and therefore using the ZEISS DTC 3 with different riflescopes is also much simpler. With a continuous operating time of 10 hours and an automatic standby mode triggered by the angle sensor, the ZEISS DTC 3/38 and 3/25 offer virtually unlimited usability in any hunting situation.

Pinpoint Accuracy Thanks to ZEISS Thermal Imaging Clip-Ons
Top-notch optics and a sharp, clear image are essential when hunting at night in order to be able to safely identify and take down the game. Two ZEISS DTC 3 thermal imaging clip-on models with specific usage characteristics allow the hunter to make the perfect choice – the ZEISS DTC 3/25 and 3/38 offer high-quality germanium lenses that are optimized for thermal radiation, the latest generation of 12-micron sensors, a large HD AMOLED display, and sophisticated image processing to deliver uncompromising detail recognition and maximum precision. In addition, both models offer intuitive ergonomics, an app-controlled assistant to precisely zero the weapon, flexible customization options, and smart power management.

Easy to Use – Thanks to Intuitive Ergonomics
Intuitive handling and the ability to easily interact with the clip-on are critical to night hunting success, and this is exactly what ZEISS has achieved with its DTC 3/25 and 3/38 models. The central location of the focusing turret on the upper side of the thermal imaging device makes it easier to reach and focus precisely, and prevents the hunter’s fingers from colliding with the barrel of the weapon when focusing. The ErgoControl concept features an intelligent, cross-shaped arrangement of the keys, making the device even more user-friendly – both for left-handed and right-handed users as well as when wearing gloves. To round out its best-in-class ergonomic handling, the ZEISS DTC 3 features simple and intuitive menu navigation. This ensures that hunters can quickly find the desired feature, even in tense stalking situations.

Zero the Weapon Quickly and Precisely – With the Help of the Zeroing Assistant
To ensure that the scope and the rifle are perfectly in tune, it is essential that the rifle is carefully and precisely zeroed. And this is precisely where the DTC 3/25 and 3/38’s zeroing assistant comes in. It is easy to operate via the ZEISS Hunting app and makes the zeroing process faster, easier, and even more accurate. The hunter only has to enter the distance and the location of the hit into the app. The assistant then independently calculates the correction values and realigns the display accordingly. This eliminates the need to calculate clicks and makes the process much faster and less stressful.
Customizable – via the ZEISS Hunting App
The ZEISS Hunting app not only offers the hunter a documentation tool, but also numerous customization options. The ZEISS DTC 3/25 and 3/38 can be connected to the Hunting app via Bluetooth and then adapted to your own needs and requirements. For example, the hunter can select which icons are displayed on the screen and adapt the information displayed to their own  needs. But that’s not all – it’s possible to save up to four profiles for different riflescopes via the ZEISS Hunting app, as well as on the ZEISS DTC 3 itself. That means that as soon as the combination of ZEISS DTC 3 and riflescope has been properly calibrated, the hunter can store this combination as a profile in the app and on the ZEISS DTC 3 and easily switch the thermal imaging clip-on from one riflescope to the other.

Always Ready to Go – Thanks to Smart Power Management
Sometimes hunting success doesn’t come as quickly as we’d like. That’s why hunters not only need to have patience, but also thermal imaging devices that consume a moderate amount of power when in use. With a battery life of 10 hours in continuous use, the ZEISS DTC 3/25 and 3/38 offer virtually infinite possibilities. An additional highlight is that the angle sensor automatically detects the device’s exact position and activates standby mode at a lateral tilt of 45° as well as at a downward or upward tilt of 70°. When the hunter brings the weapon back to the firing position, the ZEISS DTC 3 automatically exits standby mode. Standby mode can, however, also be deactivated by briefly pressing the power button.
And for those extremely long hunting expeditions, the ZEISS DTC 3 can also be recharged directly in the field via the portable power bank.
The ZEISS DTC 3/25 and 3/38 – Equipped with All the Necessary Features for Every Hunting Situation
Armed with the ZEISS DTC 3/25 and 3/38, hunters are always prepared for any night hunting situation, no matter how unique. With a click value of 1.6 cm per 100 meters, the weapon can be zeroed extremely precisely without any difficulty. Combined with a detection range of up to 1950 meters and a field of view of 12.3 meters at 100 meters, the ZEISS DTC 3/38 is particularly well suited for hunting in the open field and at longer distances. The ZEISS DTC 3/38 is also optimized for higher magnifications, as the full field of view can already be used when the scope is at 3x optical magnification.
For hunting in wooded areas or stalking, the ZEISS DTC 3/25, with a field of view of 18.4 meters at 100 meters, ensures that hunters maintain a perfect overview at short distances and enjoy best-in-class detail recognition. This means that the ZEISS DTC 3/25 is the perfect choice when you need to react quickly.
