The Gateway 1 Woodbeater 18" Wellington Boot is designed for various outdoor activities in varying weather conditions. It incorporates a 2mm G1-air spacer, which aids in preventing condensation and circulating air around the boot, ensuring breathability even in cold environments. This boot is further reinforced with Japanese rubber for enhanced durability. It features an extra deep outsole tread alongside Lynx ICE-GRIP+™ technology to provide optimal grip in temperatures ranging from -45°C to +30°C.

The boot is recognised for being relatively lightweight and comfortable, suitable for long-distance walking in Arctic weather conditions with a comfort rating of -40°C (or -50°C as per some sources). The Woodbeater is ideal for outdoor activities, including hiking, hunting, ice fishing, work, and everyday use.
